Key Responsibilities
● Plan, coordinate, and supervise all daily on-site farm operations.
● Manage workforce attendance, task allocation, productivity tracking, and daily
reporting.
● Maintain a digital and physical registry of:
○ Labour attendance
○ Work completed
○ Equipment usage
● Monitor and log data from:
○ Weather stations
○ IoT devices and sensors (as applicable)
● Oversee farm machinery, electrical systems, tools, and technical equipment.
● Coordinate installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and
infrastructure.
● Supervise technical projects such as:
○ Workshop reconstruction
○ Machine installation
○ Infrastructure upgrades
● Maintain structured records of:
○ Operations
○ Expenses
○ Assets and consumables
● Prepare and share weekly/monthly reports using Excel and digital tools.
● Communicate regularly with GLB management through email and WhatsApp.
● Coordinate with external contractors, vendors, technicians, and service providers.
Preferred Exposure
● Experience with:
○ Farms, nurseries, or plantations
○ Greenhouses or controlled-environment agriculture
○ Agri-infrastructure or machinery-based projects is highly desirable.
Eligibility & Qualifications
● Education:
○ Diploma/Science background/Any Bachelor’s Degree
● Experience:
○ 3+ years of experience in farm operations, agri-projects, nurseries,
greenhouses, or similar technical field roles
● Technical Skills:
○ Working knowledge of MS Excel
○ Email communication
○ Digital record keeping
● Language:
○ Basic to intermediate English (sufficient for reporting and emails)
○ Knowledge of Kannada/Hindi/Bengali/Assamese is an added advantage
● Other Requirements:
○ Technically oriented and process-driven
○ Willing to stay on-site or within daily commuting distance
○ Comfortable working in a field-based operational environment
Work Location & Stay
● Mandatory on-site presence near Soraba, Shimoga District.
● On-site accommodation can be arranged for suitable candidates.
